The computer made a valiant attempt at self destruction last night, and restored everyone's settings to default, mixing up people's profiles along the way. One program was so messed up that you could click and drag the close (or any other icon) button to any part of the screen.

However, after several hours of pondering what to do, with frequent attempts at fixing it resulting in further damage, we finally reached a stage where the computer was functional.

And that was all well and good, until today when I logged on and found that CHROME HAD DISSAPEARED . Somewhat annoyingly it was still on everyone else's setings. JUST NOT MINE.
So, resignedly, I once again had to go back to using Explorer. I mean, it couldn't be too bad, right?

NO RUBY, YOU'RE WRONG, THAT'S WORST IDEA YOU'VE EVER HAD.
IT'S HORRIBLE

I have none of my bookmarks, the default search provider is stuck on bing (but yet you can still change it to askjeeves or even the NHS _wut? - JUST NOT GOOGLE), there's no adblock, spellcheck, any of the weird add-ons which I'd totally forgotten about (like changing the colour of the deviantart scroll bar to match) or any other nifty right click features I've been used to, the layout's horrible and the interface just generally unfunctional.

WHAT DID I DO TO DESERVE THIS?

So, today marks three complete years of being on deviantart.
lame.

edit: Why does it still only say two years on my profile? I'm furious.

Well, I'm finally back from my house moving sojourn.

And I've realised I don't really like the internet.
sucks

I meant to do loads of pretty pictures whilst there was no stumbleupon to distract me from my endeavours, but I was feeling too neurotic so I didn't, and so decided to wallow in my self pity instead.
Another productive month then.

It snowed and it's cold and it's now December which means IT'S ADVENT

And because I'm cool, I'm going to try and upload something everyday from now until Christmas. Utterly unachievable, but still, one can hope.
